Went on a Sunday to get something to eat lunch before visiting lesconil. But they don't propose any sandwiches , just bread and pastries. The gateau Breton was quite expensive. When you cut it with a knife it just falls apart in crumbles and not very refined.

Kergarec, Brittany's hidden secret! Our first visit to Kergarec was in 2003, we were looking for somewhere to RELAX, UNWIND and EXPLORE with a young boy aged 4 who loved the great outdoors, animals and making new friends, we found it! so it's no surprise we've booked every year since, 2019 being our 16th visit here and this year our son now 20 brought along his girlfriend to the be enchanted with the magic of this wonderful place with its idyllic beaches and beautiful historical places to visit. Kergarec is the place where lasting friendships are made and you will want to come back again and again...but ssh, don't tell everyone as it will get booked up! It's not just for families but for couples too who are looking for a place to escape from the rush of everyday life. Kergarec, is what you want it to be! Rod and Maryvonne are the most wonderful hosts you could ever wish to meet.

I have been going on holiday here for 17 years now and every single year it never fails to disappoint! Perfect location, gite and incredibly friendly hosts. This is by far my favourite holiday destination where I've made lifelong friends and memories.

We love coming to Kergarec - and even though the family have all grown up, we still return! Rod and Maryvonne are always so welcoming, and really make us feel that we are staying in a home from home. Set in lovely, family friendly grounds, all the accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Kergarec is ideally located - close to Benodet, as well as within easy reach of beautiful beaches, picturesque towns and villages, and lovely countryside. If you are looking for a relaxing family holiday, or an out of season retreat, I cannot recommend highly enough.

Beautiful rural location but close to the coast, the gites have everything you need for a relaxed holiday. Furnished in the traditional style but with a modern, well equipped kitchen area and very comfortable beds. The owners, Maryvonne and Rod, are a lovely couple and make you feel very welcome. The gites are enclosed by a huge, beautifully tended garden, completely safe for small children to play, and there are plenty of chill-out zones for the adults. Loved the hammock! The coast is spectacular with many long sandy beaches and some hidden coves. Ideal for walking and cycling. There are many interesting places to visit in the local area.

We have just returned from another wonderful week at Kergarec . This was our 10th year it would be difficult to consider anywhere else for an early summer break. Sitting in the lovely garden with a book enjoying the sight of visiting deer and red squirrels is hard to beat. Of course it wouldn't be the same without the three donkeys or Oscar the orphan lamb .
